Once in a while it really hits people that they don’t have to experience the world in the way they have been told to.

Getting into… Kindergarten

Caught this by accident on Discovery Channel and got hooked.

I previously read about the mad competition and hot-house preparation that kids (and parents) undergo in India to gun for top Kindergartens, but I never expected the same cut-throat reality in New York.. but it IS New York afterall, what was I thinking! If you feel like watching 4-year-olds being subjected to three IQ tests (to gain entry into the privates), interviews being masked as play dates, and parents stressing out over self-inflicted pressure, the whole documentary is available on youtube :)

    Hi min

I recalled a saying but could not remember where I saw it and who said that.

“We are all different outside, but we are all the same inside.” …something like that. :)

    And I agree with that.

Anyway, pity the children… this group will be the Gen Z. Wondering how they will turn out when it is time for them to “rule the world”…

As for the parents, they maybe in Gen X or Gen Y and they fully understand the value of doing that….

For my generation X, our parents were born before or during the 2nd world war, they would not understand or know the value then :)

    Anyway, this is life :)

    thanks
